[Blog] TAO weaving studio
A few years ago, I met a woman who weaves cotton in a small city in Toyama prefecture, next to Ishikawa. When I visited her, she served me hojicha-tea (roasted green tea) and Japanese sweets on ceramic dishes, and we listened to jazz music on a foreign radio station. Her way of welcoming me was so comfortable and hospitable. I strongly remember that moment. The cups, the dishes, the table and all the other furniture made an unforgettable impression on me. The short time I spent there made me rethink my life and daily routines.
