Sayaka Hayashi, a ceramist based in Sasayama, Tanba, creates elegant white ceramics. Her works have a smooth, polished texture and are so thin and delicate that light shines through them. On Sunday, October 13th, tea-master Ichiko Horiguchi will host an autumn tea ceremony (two sessions) using Hayashi san’s porcelain. The tea she serves will be paired with several dishes from RAVI, a French restaurant in Gujo, Gifu Prefecture. Sayaka Hayashi will be at the exhibition for the first two days.
