We are delighted to present a solo exhibition of aimai, showcasing a variety of handcrafted items created with natural dyes such as persimmon tannin and indigo, applied to cotton and linen fabrics. aimai has taken a self-taught path in the world of dyeing, relying on instinct and feel for each dyeing session, whether it's the number of dye layers or the blending of colors.

This exhibition features various items designed to enrich everyday life, including persimmon-dyed floor cushions, patchwork pillows, uniquely dyed table runners and coasters, and other accessories. Among the highlights are tapestries crafted from old mosquito nets, rediscovered in an old warehouse in Ishikawa Prefecture, and dyed with natural colors.
